About the Journal
Journal of Regional Anesthesia & Pain Medicine is an open access journal that publishes peer-reviewed scientific and clinical studies to advance the understanding and clinical application of regional techniques for surgical anesthesia and post-operative analgesia. Coverage includes intraoperative regional techniques, perioperative pain, chronic pain, obstetric anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, outcome studies, and complications. The journal has a special interest in all forms of research pertaining to ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia and to education in regional anesthesia and pain medicine.
Anesthesia enables the painless performance of procedures that would cause severe or intolerable pain to an anesthetized patient. Anesthesia is an integral and important part of any major surgical procedure. Established medical guidelines are available for local and general anesthesia. Various factors are important during application of anesthesia protocol where patient’s age, exact disease condition etc. should be considered with care.
This scholarly publishing is using Editorial Manager System for quality tracking system for online manuscript submission, review and tracking. Editorial Board members of the Journal of Regional Anesthesia & Pain Medicine or outside experts review manuscripts, at least two independent reviewer’s approvals followed by the editors required for the acceptance of any citable manuscript.
