About the Journal
The only independent journal devoted to general plastic and reconstructive surgery, Annals of Reconstructive & Plastic Surgery serves as a forum for current scientific and clinical advances in the field and a sounding board for ideas and perspectives on its future. The journal publishes peer-reviewed original articles, brief communications, case reports, and notes in all areas of interest to the practicing plastic surgeon. There are also historical and current reviews, descriptions of surgical technique, and lively editorials and letters to the editor.
Aims and Scope:
The aim of the journal is to be a respected international publication while serving as the major venue for Canadian Plastic Surgery, Hand Surgery, Microsurgery, and Aesthetic Surgery within Canada. It will consider for publication original reports of clinical and basic research relevant to Reconstructive & Plastic Surgery. Manuscripts on health systems, ethics, medical history, and political and financial issues affecting practice, as well as letters to the editor are also welcomed. The journal is pleased to publish article abstracts in the English. Manuscripts are received with the understanding that they are submitted solely to the Reconstructive & Plastic Surgery, and that none of the material contained in the manuscript has been previously published or is under consideration for publication elsewhere, with the exception of abstracts.
